A former Obama White House official, Matt brings decades of experience building cross-sector coalitions that drive systemic change, convening world leaders, investors, and innovators to deliver transformative impact at scale.

Amir is also the Founder and CEO of the Global Partnerships Forum, a platform that convenes thought leaders and innovators to foster high-impact solutions for global challenges. He serves as Chairman of SDG News, leading its mission to inform, inspire, and mobilize action by amplifying the voices of frontline communities, connecting global leaders to bold solutions, and driving systems change across governments, industry, and civil society.

He also serves as Co-Chairman of the Island Resilience Partnership (IRP), where he champions strategic partnerships to accelerate sustainable development for small island developing states. As Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Kingdom of Tonga and former President of the Pacific Islands Parliament Group, Lord Fakafanua has been a leading advocate for Pacific nations in international climate and development forums. With a deep commitment to leveraging diplomacy, finance, and technology for global impact, he continues to bridge the gap between government, private sector, and philanthropic leaders to drive solutions for a more resilient and prosperous future.

As Vice Chairman of Global Resilience Partners (GRP), he drives high-impact public-private partnerships that mobilize investment and innovation to achieve resilience and prosperity on a global scale. He also serves as Co-Chairman of the Island Resilience Partnership (IRP), where he focuses specifically on supporting small island developing states through strategic partnerships that accelerate sustainable development. A former Permanent Representative of Grenada to the United Nations and Chair of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), Dr. Friday has been a key advocate in global climate negotiations. He also served as the World Bank’s Ocean Representative, organizing investment forums to strengthen the blue economy. In addition to his leadership roles at GRP and IRP, Angus is Executive Chairman of Atlantean Ltd., a London-based company developing the A.I.-enabled Azuros platform to support sustainable financing for island and coastal developing nations.
